SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM MACHINES

Question: How much is it to rent a Soft Serve Ice Cream Machine?

Answer: $179 includes local delivery, 50 bowls, 50 spoons, 1st batch of ice cream, clean-up, & take away.  Additional batches are $20/each and you only pay for what you use.


Question: Are the machines easy to use?

Answer: Yes, Very Easy. We make the first batch with you, show you how to continue, and leave you with written instructions!  Machine is automatic, no adjustments or ice for you to worry with.  When you are done simply drain out the machine and rinse it through with water, we take care of the rest.



Question: How long does it take to make ice cream?

Answer: About 10 – 15 minutes from the minute we turn it on.



Question: Can the machine be setup outside?

Answer: Yes, as long as it is in the shade.



Question: Do I need to have someone run the machine throughout the party?

Answer: NO WAY! The whole idea of having this machine at your party is to give you a break. Whether you have 50 guests or 300 let the guests pull the handle and get their own ice cream out.   Half the fun is dispensing your own ice cream, all you need to do is add another batch when needed.
 

Question: Do I have to wait between batches for the machine to re-freeze?

Answer: NO, as long as you add another batch when the mix low light starts flashing, there is NO down time between the batches.


Question: How will I know when to fill the machine?

Answer: The machine has a mix low light that will come on and remind you to fill it.



Question: What if I don’t have a plug near the machine? Can I use one of my extension cords?

Answer: NO, you CANNOT use one of your extension cords, we will provide the cord needed.  We only want you to use our heavy-duty extension cords because most people will have too thin of extension cords at their house which could damage the machine.



Question: What kind of outlet do I need?

Answer: You will need a dedicated 115 volt 20 amp circuit.  All houses will have at least 5-6 of this type of circuit.  Usually found in the kitchen area, sometimes the back porch, bathrooms, garage, and washing machine.  Dedicated means that NO other items can be plugged into the same circuit as the ice cream machine.




Question: Do I have to clean the machine?

Answer: No, all you need to do is empty the machine and run warm water through it on the "clean" cycle until the water runs clean.  We'll take care of the rest.
